Why is this important?

Sacha’s remarkable story of adventure, bravery, determination and creativity is one that needs to be told again and again.

What migratory species inspires me?

This is ever changing the more I am learning, I’m currently in awe of southern elephant seals, their epic journeys, they don’t possess the ability to rely on echolocation instead their survival to forage is through their vision and sensitivity in their whiskers.

Why the photo?

I’m a home educating mum living in Cornwall. When this photo was taken we’d been investigating the rock pools, spotted several seals and then suddenly the arrival of pod after pod after pod….a super pod of dolphins were making their way across the bay. These joyful encounters with nature etch humility and hope in my heart..
