Volunteer Researcher, Photographer & Medic
Poul Brix
I'm part of the media team for CWB, before the expedition I’m helping with gathering and researching Osprey rescue stories, during the expedition my role is photographer/medic and after the expedition I’m working with the team to consolidate images for publication.
I have always been interested in conservation and joining CWB allows me to play a more active role while pursuing my passion for adventure photography.
Being an outdoors person means I love the changing of the seasons and in the spring I love seeing the Swallows arriving from the South, the Geese from North leaving and it’s always exciting to go check when the local Ospreys arrive.
The photo is from an assignment for National Geographic DE where I was photographing adventures across the Dolomites for 3 months, it’s an inspiring place that lures me back frequently.
